When we begin to think about exercise many people comment that they get plenty of exercise throughout the day, especially if they are chasing their kids around the house.
Many working parents also mention that after a long day on the job, the last thing they want to do is go and work out. Even the children today are suffering with the lack of
motivation to be able to get out and move like we once use too. We can even verify this as we drive past the parks or yards and see very little activity like there was years ago. We have to think that as time has gone on, we have moved from an opportunity where we worked hard on the farm from sunup to sundown to be replaced with
technology that does things for us and fills our time with entertainment and self-gratification. Let’s face the fact that even though I know the huge benefits in which the exercise can provide to my body, it is much easier to do it the next day and continue to relax in my easy chair. The excuses are endless, and I think if we are honest with ourselves, we will find that we all stack our excuses up until we eagerly convince ourselves that we will do it another day. Does that next day ever come for exercise?
I hope that as we break this down step by step in the
next weeks to months you will find a little ounce of motivation that will encourage you to get up and get moving a little. We all spend lots of money on our insurance plans to make sure we are covered, but do we actually put time into our body with the right exercise and nutrition? Now the nutrition topic is another subject all together that I hope to break
down for you and help with as well. But by getting up out of that chair and removing yourself from the entertainment of technology for a few minutes will help jump your body into a mode that can preserve and protect for many years to come. It’s that simple unless we want to complex it a lot more than that. We don’t have to be gym buffs or marathon enthusiast, even though that would be fun. We simply have to move, and I hope that with a little guidance I can provide you with an easy healthy direction in which you can take the next step for yourself and your family. Keep in mind, the more value you put into today will pay off for many years to come. You simply have to do it!
